We are excited and looking forward to having the students with us again this year. We have an awesome line-up that reinforces math and reading concepts, while providing an enriching summer experience. <\/span><\/em><\/span>\u00a0In order to provide a quality summer program, we are limiting class sizes. Shalom<\/span> Community Christian Church will host its 13th Annual Summer program for students Kindergarten through rising Sixth grade.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The\u00a0S.M.A.R.T<\/em>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong>(S<\/strong>cience,\u00a0M<\/strong>ath,\u00a0A<\/strong>rts & A<\/strong>griculture, R<\/strong>eading and T<\/strong>echnology) Academic and Enrichment Summer Program is held at Shalom Community Christian Church, 2227 Pinecroft Road, Greensboro.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The program includes breakfast snack, lunch and afternoon snack. The program begins June 10th and ends August 23rd; 7:30am – 5:30pm Mondays through Fridays.\u00a0 The Cost is $70 per week; there is a $25 per family registration fee required.\u00a0 Sibling discounts are available.<\/span><\/p>\n

Campers will gain proficiency in Math and Reading in addition to having the opportunity to enjoy classes offered in Financial Literacy, Science, Nutrition, and Character Development and more. The activities support learning objectives of the Guilford County Schools Curriculum emphasizing foundations in math and reading. \u00a0Classes are taught by teaching professionals and this program has been officially certified and recognized as a Guilford County Schools Summer Gold Partner.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Summer Program at Shalom is one of the few affordable academic and enrichment programs in Guilford County that offer the rigor, range of classes, and reinforcement opportunities, especially in math and reading.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Looking for a Volunteer opportunity?<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0 We need energetic and enthusiastic Volunteers to help with our program.\u00a0 We offer Service-Learning hours to high school students. Must be at least 16 yrs. of age or have completed the 9th grade.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
